Do I need an account? Signing in

You can register for events without any account at all. When you do want one, you sign in with an email link, and there's no password to remember.

You don't need an account to attend

Registering for an event happens right on the event page with just your email address. No sign-up form, no password, no app. Your confirmation email is your ticket, and its Cancel link manages the registration. An account simply adds conveniences on top, like seeing all your registrations in one place.

2

Sign in with an email link

On the sign-in page, enter your email and press Email me a link. Click the link in the email and you're in. New or returning, it just works: your account is created automatically the first time, and there's never a password to invent or forget.

Sign in with an email link

Prefer a password? After you've signed in once, you can set an optional password and use the Already set a password? Sign in path instead.

3

Didn't get the link?

Check spam, and make sure you typed the same email your community knows you by. Sign-in links are single-use and expire quickly for your security, so if it's been a while, just request a fresh one; the newest link is always the one that counts.

4

The mobile app, and deleting your account

The optional mobile app signs you in with a 6-digit code emailed to you instead of a link. And if you ever want to leave: you can delete your account in the app under Profile, or read exactly what deletion removes and how to request it without the app at neighborlyevents.org/account-deletion.
