Deleting your account
Your account is yours to close. Delete it yourself from the app in a few taps, or send us a request and we'll take care of it.
Delete it yourself in the app
- Open the NeighborlyEvents app and sign in
- Go to the Profile tab
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
- Confirm — deletion takes effect immediately
There's no waiting period and no follow-up email required. If you change your mind later, signing in with the same email simply starts a brand-new account.
Removed immediately
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your home address and residency details
- Your notifications and notification preferences
- Every signed-in device — all sessions are revoked
- Organizer roles and active club memberships
Kept, without your identity
- Event registration, dues, and volunteer history
Communities rely on these records for bookkeeping — who attended, what was paid, which shifts were covered. After deletion they belong to an anonymized placeholder and can no longer be traced back to you.
Can't sign in, or don't have the app anymore?
Send a deletion request with the email address on your account and we'll process it for you. We reply to that address to confirm before anything is removed.
