Join a club (and pay dues)
Finding clubs near you, how joining works, and where dues money actually goes.
Find clubs near you
Your neighborhood's page has a Clubs section with every club in your community, and the public directory at neighborlyevents.org/clubs lists clubs anyone can join. Each club has its own page with what it's about, when it meets, and what's coming up.
Join instantly, or request to join
Many clubs let you join on the spot. Others review requests first, and some ask a question or two, or check that you live in the neighborhood. Either way, you'll see your membership under My clubs once you're in, and club events start appearing alongside your community's events.
Dues go to the club, not to us
If a club charges dues, you pay online and the money lands in the club's own account, run by the club's organizers. The published platform fee comes out of what the club receives, never added to what you pay. Your confirmation email is your receipt, and dues questions go to the club's organizers.
Polls, and leaving a club
Clubs run member polls for things like book picks and meeting times, and you can vote from the club's page. If a club stops being your thing, you can leave from your membership settings any time; that also ends its emails to you.
